Lepänkanto
Recreation area located on the shores of Kuolimo
Lepänkanto recreation area is located on the shores of Kuolimo, a few kilometres from Savitaipale. Lepänkanto has a long sandy beach that deepens very gently. The recreation area is located along the Ice Age Trails - Stone Age Man hiking trail. Signposted from Highway 13, which is about two miles away.
The ridge terrain of Lepänkanto is a Saimaa Geopark site.
