Bistro & Café Veera is located in the heart of Lappeenranta Harbour and offers a relaxed combination of delicious food, cosy café atmosphere, and vibrant summer harbour life. Veera is known for its versatile selection that brings together a bistro, café, ice cream bar, and its own fish smokehouse under one roof.
The kitchen at Veera highlights high quality ingredients and local flavours. The à la carte menu features daily fresh vendace with mashed potatoes, smoked salmon dishes from the restaurant’s own smokehouse, salmon soup, burgers, sautéed reindeer, a wide selection of salads, and many other summer favourites. Naturally, Lappeenranta’s famous local specialties, the authentic Vety and Atom dishes, are also among Veera’s most popular choices.
At Bistro & Café Veera’s smokehouse, fish is smoked on Saturdays during the spring season, and from June onwards on both Tuesdays and Saturdays. Smoked fish products are also available to take away on smoking days. Veera is the perfect stop for lunch, coffee, ice cream, or a relaxed evening by the harbour.
The restaurant also offers a full selection of hot and cold beverages as well as a wine list, all served with full alcohol licensing rights in the lively harbour atmosphere.
