The Sandcastle is opening again on June 1, 2024! This year, the Sandcastle carries the name Lappeenranta - Heart of Saimaa. At the Sandcastle, you'll find all the ingredients for a perfect summer day. The area features equipment rental services (e.g., SUP boards and bicycles), Coinline's Bouncy Castle World, and new this year, a sightseeing bus tour (in Finnish and English) and a Fazer shop! The area also includes a tourist service point where our tourist advisors are happy to assist you with questions about the city's attractions, events, and activities.
