Hotel Rakuuna

Our cosy hotel is located in the historic Rakuunamäki district of Lappeenranta, close to the city's amenities and stunning lake views. Rakuunamäki is a former garrison area mainly preserved in its original form and nowadays the buildings have found new lives and offer also services for people visiting the area.

The Lappeenranta Fortress and the harbor are only a short walk away, as is the Rantaraitti walking route that runs along the shores of Lake Saimaa.

Stylish décor, deluxe beds, and high room height create an elegant atmosphere. There are 45 rooms in our hotel:

A specialty is the army huts (4 or 6) that bring the real atmosphere.

Hotel Rakuuna is ideal for families, singles, and couples alike. The children's playroom is equipped with a climbing frame, books, and a drawing corner. School-aged children will surely enjoy a separate room with pool tables and board games.

Our hotel is non-smoking, some rooms also welcome pets.

Our sauna & spa section with infrared saunas and jacuzzis ensures a relaxed stay. Hotel guests can enjoy a sauna & spa on a daily basis for women or men (private sauna shifts are also available at an additional cost). The Sauna & Spa section is also ideal for organizing friends' sauna evenings, corporate parties, or other private events. For meeting guests, the Sauna & Spa section has a 28-person room with meeting equipment (flip charts, pens, projection equipment, and a screen).
