A RICH AND HONORED HISTORY
Imatranajo has a long and proud history. The first international TT race on the banks of the Vuoksi River in Imatra was held in 1962, which also included Finnish Championship points. Two years later—after a colorful journey—the Imatran Moottorikerho (founded in 1937) was granted the right to organize the first World Championship round in Imatra, and thus Imatranajo was born.
