KoloCabins by Metsäterapiakeskus - a unique accommodation experience in the heart of Lake Saimaa region’s most beautiful nature.

Relax surrounded by nature, sheltered by the forest or embraced by Lake Saimaa. The charming KoloCabins are located at Huuhanranta in Ruokolahti Beach and by the Hiitolanjoki River in Rautjärvi.

Hiitolanjoki

The two-person KoloCabins by Metsäterapiakeskus at Hiitolanjoki are located in connection with B&B Hiitolanjoki. Two of the cabins are situated right by the flowing river. The other two are located at the edge of a field, where you can admire the changing seasons—from spring sowing to the harvest in August. Wild animals from the forest occasionally visit the field, and you can safely observe them through the cabin’s large glass window.

Huuhanranta

The KoloCabins by Metsäterapiakeskus at Huuhanranta are located on a stunning sandy beach, often called the “Riviera of Saimaa,” in a public outdoor recreation area. Two of the Kolo Cabins are placed near the parking area, high on a ridge and nestled in the forest. Through the large glass window, you can observe nature in all its forms. The beach, where you can enjoy beautiful views of Lake Saimaa, is less than 100 meters away.

Please note that a KoloCabin is not a hotel, but a nature-based accommodation experience. Always bring weather-appropriate gear for your trip, as well as sufficient warm clothing for changing conditions. In spring and autumn, the cabins may be cool, so bringing a sleeping bag is recommended.

The cabins are not heated.
