Imatra Kruununpuisto Park

Imatra's Kruununpuisto Park is located in the centre of the town. Imatrankoski rapid's surroundings received early recognition when Finland's first nature park was established in 1842. Today, Kruununpuisto consists of four park sections and various attractions. Kruununpuisto includes an ancient marsh park with a grove of embers, observation pavilions on the banks of the river, Finland's largest hydroelectric power plant, a magnificent Art Nouveau castle and a summer theatre.
