Inhabitants and small business by Niskapietilä road arrange every year event 'Day on the museum road' in August. During the day you can explore the destinations by museum road and also buy products directly from sellers. Guidance signs can be found on both ends of the road. 19.5 kilometres long road was accepted as a museum destination in 1989. Once the road was used by armament and travellers on their way to the tavern as well.
