Restaurant and Smokehouse Nuotta offers a unique combination of the Saimaa summer atmosphere, charming harbour scenery, and high quality culinary experiences in Ukonrauha, right by the Imatra passenger harbour and close to the sandy beaches of Imatra Spa and Ukonniemi. Located on a sunny lakeside shore, this summer restaurant is known for its warm and welcoming atmosphere as well as its Slavic Scandinavian cuisine, where local flavours and premium ingredients take centre stage.

Nuotta is the only restaurant in Eastern and South Eastern Finland where lobsters arrive live. Its impressive lobster dishes have become increasingly popular year after year, with lobsters delivered through Kalatukku Eriksson’s lobster tanks from either Canada or Europe. At the heart of the kitchen, however, are the fish from nearby waters, ingredients from local forests, and carefully selected products from local producers.

Smokehouse Specialties and Signature Dishes

The restaurant’s own smokehouse prepares delicious smoked fish products daily, also available to take away. Nuotta is especially famous for its legendary blinis, Saimaa fish delicacies, smokehouse specialties, and spectacular lobster dishes. The menu also features high quality burgers, juicy steaks, and delicious options for vegan guests.

Easy to Reach by Land or Water

Nuotta is easy to reach by foot, car, or boat. The restaurant is located only a few kilometres from Holiday Club Saimaa, Imatrankoski, and Imatra State Hotel, while Imatra Spa is just a short walk away. Parking spaces are available directly in front of the restaurant, and boat berths for short visits can also be found nearby. Motorhome parking and small boat harbour services are within walking distance.

Nuotta serves guests daily from the eve of May Day until the first Saturday of September. The restaurant is also pet friendly.
