Restaurant Wanha Makasiini Bistro

Wanha Makasiini Bistro is a straightforward and atmospheric restaurant in the Lappeenranta harbour. Our restaurant building was built in 1915 as an armory for our 11th sniper regiment. Today the gunsmiths and carpenters' old workshop serves the customers of Wanha Makasiini Bistro as day to day dining purposes as well as celebrations and other occasions.

All our dishes are prepared professionally and ingredients are selected from the freshest batch. Our food is based on classical cooking, where familiar ingredients are served in a new way, elegant – but not too fancy.

Our drink selection includes aperitifs, beers, ciders, wines, cocktails… you name it! We have paired every dish with quality wines. Our wine selection also includes some rarities that will certainly please the demanding taste.

We have places for approximately 100 customers, during the summertime almost 200 due to our large and sunny terrace. Our two main halls and our two cabinets are made for celebrations, meetings, business occasions and unforgettable evenings spent with friends and family.

Lunch time Mon-Fri 12.00-15.00 you get -20% discount on the following dishes: salads, pizzas and vendace.
