Saimaa Canal Museum is located to Mälkiä-Mustola area. Museum's exhibition gives insight into the construction work of the Saimaa Canal. Exhibition on the Suvorov Canals built in the 18th century, and about the harbors of Baltic Sea in the outbuilding. The earliest attempt to build the Saimaa Canal was in the 17th century. There is also a historically valuable renovated garden, a canal path in the Mälkiä area, and a café.
