Does a walk in the shelter of the forest have any interest for you, or then perhaps a demanding trek at various elevations? In the Lappeenranta and Imatra region, it is possible to hike for a couple of hours in the immediate terrain or leave with a tent on a weekend trek – the choice is yours!

Excursion maps are available in the tourist offices in Lappeenranta and Imatra. South Karelia's hiking trails (hiking, walking and canoeing trails), bird towers, lean-to places, marinas and landfalls can also be found via the digital map service on the retkikartta.fi website.
