Suomen matkailun juuret ovat Saimaalla ja Suomen vanhin matkailunähtävyys, Imatrankoski, on houkutellut matkailijoita jo satojen vuosien ajan. Vuonna 1649 perustettu Lappeenrannan linnoitus oli aikoinaan Suomen tervakaupan keskus ja vilkas markkinapaikka. Nykyään loma Saimaalla on matkailijoille rentoutumista ja kauniista järvimaisemista nauttimista unohtumatta historiallisia nähtävyyksiä ja kultuuritapahtumia. Etelä-Karjalan maakunnasta löydät upeita kuntia, kuten: Imatra, Lappeenranta, Luumäki, Rautjärvi, Ruokolahti, Parikkala, Savitaipale ja Taipalsaari.

Lappeenranta Sandcastle is almost ready and opens to the public on Saturday, June 7 🤗🥳 This year’s theme is a spooky haunted castle 🏚Welcome to check what Mörkö, Frankenstein’s laboratory or the Ghostbusters look like as sand sculptures 👻 The area is open daily from 10 AM to 9 PM until August 31.
In addition to the sand sculptures, the Sandcastle area offers:
